Senior Center Trips for 2017: Litchfield Senior Center 2017 Road Runner Schedule

Senior Center Activites, June

— Awareness Through Movement class is 9:30-10:30 on Friday, June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 with instructor
Lindsay Nelsen.
— Join us and make cards for Father’s Day, Get well, Thinking of you, etc. with Anne Thompson on June 7
at 1-3pm.. Its a lot of fun.
— Join us for Bowling on Thursday, June 8 at 1-7-10 lanes in Augusta, call 441-9005 for carpooling as we
leave at 12 p.m. Call or stop by to get on the list.
— The book club meeting is on June 14 at 12:30. The book to be discussed is “The Aviator’s Wife” by
Melanie Benjamin. Call or stop into the Gardiner Library and pick up a copy and join us for the
discussion.
— The pot luck lunch and celebration of June birthdays is Friday, June 16.
— Line dancing instruction Mondays at 9:30 for beginners and advanced. Aerobics classes are
Wednesday and Friday at 8:30.
— Join us for music practice at 10 on Wednesdays. If you like to sing and/or play an instrument come and
join in the fun.
— The Carol Bailey String Band (a program of the Litchfield Senior Center)is performing on Saturday,
June 24 at 2 p.m. in Winter Harbor, Maine as part of the Schoodic Arts for all festival.
— Cribbage games for fun on Mondays at 11 and Fridays 10-12. Bring a lunch and stay for cards in the
afternoon.
— The thrift shop is open the first and third Monday 10-11.
— The Seniors Advisory Committee meeting is at 10 on June 20.
— The “Roadrunner” trips for June are Thursday, June 15- MSMT “Alway’s Patsy Cline”, lunch at Capt’n
Mikes. Leave at 11 from Sportsmen’s Club. Tuesday, June 27 -Trip to Old Orchard Beach-beach time,
shopping-lunch on own. Leave at 9a.m. from Sportsmen’ club. Upcoming trips for July – 7/6
Carousel Music Theater, Boothbay; 7/25 Castle in the Clouds, Moultonborough, NH.
— Please stop in to the Senior Center for more information a cup of coffee or tea and to sign up for
the trips & activities.
— Reminder – exercise equipment and a Wii game with bowling, tennis, etc. here at the Center available for
you to use.
