Notices:

2025 Tax Bills:

2025-2026 property tax bills will be mailed out in late September. The first payment will be due October 15th. If you would prefer to pay smaller amounts more frequently throughout the year, we accept payments at any time.

Woodbury Pond Park 2025 Season:

Woodbury Pond Park is now closed for the season.

Transfer Station:

Hours: Fridays, and Saturdays 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. (And Sundays between Labor Day and the end of August)

Leaf and Brush Pile: Open during regular hours. (Once the leaf and brush pile is closed for the winter, Oldcastle Lawn & Garden North, Inc. located at 481 Springwater Road in Poland, ME accepts brush year round.)

Swap Shop: Open April through September, weather permitting, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, and staffed by volunteers. Drop off closes two weeks prior to closing of the Swap Shop. Phone: 207-998-5580.

Transfer Station Passes Available at the Transfer Station:

All Litchfield residents/property owners are required to have a yellow Transfer Station sticker to use the transfer station. This sticker replaces the old blue one and must be attached to the lower right (passenger side) windshield. Stickers may be picked up free of charge at the Transfer Station for each of your registered vehicles (show your registration).
