Select Board Personnel Policy Workshop Part III:

The Select Board will meet Thursday, March 4th at 1:30 pm in the Town Office to continue review of the the Town Personnel Policy.  Public attendance is through the Zoom link under upcoming meetings, above.

Restore Sea-run Alewife fish capability to Cobbossee Stream. Good, bad, neutral?

The Department of Maine Resources is desiring to build fish ladders to allow Cobbossee Stream to allow sea-run Alewives. This one page summary  from the Cobbossee Watershed District provides some background. If you are interested in finding out more, call the Town Office (268-4721) and we’ll provide you a local point of contact.

The Transfer Station leaf and brush pile is closed for the season (as are tires, refrigerator and a/c drop offs).

New (Yellow) Transfer Station Passes Required: 

All Litchfield residents/property owners are required to have a yellow Transfer Station sticker to use the transfer station.  This sticker replaces the old blue one and must be attached to the lower right (passenger side) windshield.  Stickers may be picked up free of charge at the Transfer Station for each of your registered vehicles (show your registration).
