Select Board Executive Session: Tuesday, May 27th, 7:30 am:

The Select Board will meet on Tuesday, May 27th at 7:30 am at the Town Office intending to enter executive session pursuant to 1 M.R.S.A. §405(6)(A) to discuss a personnel issue.

Woodbury Pond Park:

Visitors are welcome to walk in when the park is closed, but the gates will no longer be open during the day. The park will open for the 2025 season on June 14th and will close on August 24th. Park hours will be from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm seven days a week.

Transfer Station:

The Transfer Station is now open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. The leaf and brush pile is now open for the season as well as the Swap Shop. Oldcastle Lawn & Garden North, Inc. located at 481 Springwater Road in Poland, ME accepts brush year round. Their telephone number is 207-998-5580.

Transfer Station Passes Available at the Transfer Station:

All Litchfield residents/property owners are required to have a yellow Transfer Station sticker to use the transfer station. This sticker replaces the old blue one and must be attached to the lower right (passenger side) windshield. Stickers may be picked up free of charge at the Transfer Station for each of your registered vehicles (show your registration).
